Requirements
- Windows 98, Windows NT (SP 4), Windows 2000 (SP 4), Windows XP (SP 1)
- 3ds max 5.x/6.x or Autodesk VIZ 4
Installation
- Close all applications.
- Place the MultiCar CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
If the setup program does not start automatically, go to step 3.
Otherwise, skip steps 3 and 4, and go to step 5.
- Chose Run from the Start menu.
- Type "d:\setup" (where d: is the CD-ROM drive).
Note: it may take several minutes for setup to find compatible versions of 3ds max and viz on your computer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- When prompted, enter the product ID supplied to you with the MultiCar installation CD-ROM.
Product Authorization
Note: Before you can use plug-in functionality you must authorize it.
- Start 3ds max 5.x/6.x or Autodesk VIZ 4.
- Select the Create Panel, Geometry category, and "MultiCar" from the primitives dropdown list.
- Click on the "MultiCar" object type.
- Click the "Register Now!" button in the "Registration" rollup.
- Submit the displayed Registration

you shortly with your corresponding
Authorization Number.
- Once you receive the Authorization
Number, please enter it into the
"Authorization Number" field, and
press the "Authorize MultiCar" button.
- Enjoy the ride!
Installation to another Computer
Note: Installation to another computer requires an Authorization Number transfer.
- Please run Add/Remove Programs from the Windows Control Panel.
- Select "MultiCar" from the programs list, and press the "Add/Remove..." button.
- Pick the "Automatic" radio button, click Next, and then Finish.
- Save the "Un-registration Number" supplied by the following dialog, this number is REQUIRED to re-authorize MultiCar.
Note: A logfile containing this number will be created in the original MultiCar installation directory.
- Please follow the installation and authorization instructions above to reinstall or re-authorize the plug-in.
